Contract agreement between Ekawa Wellebing LLC and the participant of the retreat “you”
You agree to the following terms and conditions of this Contract for the Qigong and Nature Connection Retreat in Dominica, February 23rd to 28th, 2027
1.Retreat Attendance
To attend the Qigong & Nature Connection Retreat in Dominica, you must:
Agree to pay the purchase price per person specified on our Webpage in U.S. Dollars and accept all other Terms and Conditions in this Contract,
Complete the registration form
Submit the balance due (based on the choice of your room) in full by 10/01/2026
2. Payment options & Reservation policy
This retreat is intentionally designed for a small group to create a more personal and meaningful experience. Spaces are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Your place is confirmed only once your deposit, or full payment has been received. Completing the registration form alone does not reserve a space.
You may choose one of the following payment options:
Option 1
Submit a $500 non-refundable deposit to secure your space. Your deposit pays towards the full rate of the Retreat.
The remaining balance will be due by October 1, 2026. A payment link for the final balance (based on your choice of Room) will be sent before the due date.
Option 2
Pay the full retreat balance by October 1, 2026
If you choose the full-payment option, your place is confirmed only once the full amount has been paid. Completing the registration form alone does not reserve a space. Because this retreat is limited to a small group, and will be promoted through Ekawa Wellbeing, Qigong associations, and Jungle Bay resort, spaces might fill quickly
3. Travel and Health Insurance
We do not offer or include trip or health insurance and recommend that you obtain trip and health insurance because you will be 100% responsible for any loss, penalties, fees, or other financial consequences relating to trip or travel cancellation or interruption, theft or loss of belongings, and all health coverage abroad. We do not offer refunds for trips, travel or medical issues that arise before or during the retreat.
Travel insurance is not included and strongly recommended. If you decline coverage, you knowingly do so at your own risk. It is your responsibility to organize suitable travel and health insurance coverage abroad. You are solely responsible for purchasing your own travel insurance policy for the retreat, all corresponding travel expenses, and medical care abroad. If you cancel due to unforeseen illness or personal or family emergency before or during the retreat (including COVID 19, pregnancy, surgery or injury), miss part of the retreat due to travel delays, lose luggage or have a delayed luggage, or require medical care abroad, we cannot reimburse you, however your personal travel insurance policy typically can.
4. Guest Cancellation Policy
Trip cancellation insurance is STRONGLY recommended. In the event you had to cancel, you need to notify in writing to Ekawa Wellbeing LLC before our trip departs. Our email address is: ekawawellbeing@gmail.com
Your reservation is non-refundable but transferable. We highly recommend that you find your own replacement to take your spot because we cannot look for replacements until we have sold all of the spots for the Qigong & Nature Connection Retreat. If you find someone to take your spot, your replacement must complete and submit the online registration on our Webpage, pay in full for Qigong & Nature Connection Retreat if you have not paid the balance yet.
There are no refunds or discounts given for arriving late or departing early or for guests who choose not to partake in meals, yoga classes, or excursions.
5. Force Majeure
We reserve the right to cancel prior to departure in the event of under-enrollment (the initial first deposit to hold the space will be refunded in case of under-enrollment) or if a force majeure event (e.g. pandemic, natural disasters, travel restrictions, strikes, breakdowns, government or political action, acts of war or terrorism, acts of omissions of a third party or for any other reason whatsoever outside of our reasonable control) causes a Qigong & Nature Connection Retreat to be canceled, we will have no liability whatsoever to you and may, at our option, by written notice to you, either cancel or postpone the retreat. In this case, we will not refund payments when they are due to causes beyond our control but may offer a rescheduled retreat date in some instances. If the rescheduled retreat date does not work for you, then you must seek reimbursement through your own travel insurance policy. For this reason, Travel Insurance to protect your Qigong & Nature Connection Retreat investment is strongly encouraged.
We also reserve the right to make changes to any aspect of the Qigong and Nature Connection retreat if, in our absolute discretion, it is necessary to do so due to conditions that are likely to be hazardous or dangerous to the best interest of our retreat group’s safety.
6. Passports, Visas, and Flights
It is your responsibility to obtain all required travel documents including passports, and visas associated with Dominica. You are also responsible for booking flights to the Qigong and Nature Connection Retreat. We are not responsible and will provide no refund if you are refused entry into the country because of incorrect travel documents that are your responsibility.
7. Roommate Requests
If you provide the name of a requested roommate at registration, we will accommodate this preference. If you are traveling alone, and would like to book a shared room, we will strive to room you with another guest of the same gender. These requests cannot always be guaranteed. If we are unable to match you with another traveler, you may need to upgrade to a private room.
8. Photography/Videography
We will be taking photographs and videos of the Qigong & Nature Connection Retreat for marketing and promotional purposes. You consent to us taking those photographs and videos and grant us the royalty-free right to use them for those purposes. If you would like to be excluded from photography/videography during the event, please let us know ahead of time and we will do our best to accommodate you.
9. Fitness and Health
You acknowledge that you are medically, physically, emotionally and in all respects fit and able to participate at the Qigong & Nature Connection Retreat. As you are participating in excursions and practicing Qigong, it is your responsibility to listen to your body, modify, and rest as needed.
Gentle and easy off site excursions are offered as an alternative to a moderate or challenging excursion.

5 nights accommodation at Jungle Bay Eco Resort
Daily Qigong practice and sound journeys
Airport transfers to and from Dominica Douglas–Charles Airport (DOM)
Three nourishing meals daily featuring fresh, local ingredients
Fresh juices, local teas, and coffee
Two guided off-site adventure excursions exploring Dominica’s waterfalls, rainforest, and coastline: Champagne Reek snorkel and waterfalls hikes.
One 30-minute spa treatment at Jungle Bay Spa
On-site experiences such as nature walks, medicinal herb and tea experiences, and Caribbean cooking classes
What is not included
Airfare to and from Dominica
Travel insurance to protect your retreat investment and cover health insurance while abroad, we strongly suggest a Cancel for Any Reason policy
Additional spa services (available onsite)
Yoga classes – Daily 6-7pm, except Saturday . $25USD a class
Additional excursions such as the hike to Boiling Lake and Titou Gorge, and the sunset kayaking
Alcoholic beverages and bottled drinks
Staff gratuities for staff to be left at your discretion when you check out (we recommend $10/day) and gratuities for your guides (off site excursions)
Transportation or meals outside of scheduled retreat activities
Any personal expenses incurred by each individual
