Learn Nature’s Wisdom

These workshops are an invitation to go to the roots of your practice as together we will explore the foundational principles that shape traditional healing systems – especially Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda. – not as abstract theories, but as living maps of experience.

Through guided learning, observation and practice, you will deepen your knowledge and perceptions of the five elements, from both the TCM and Ayurveda’s perspective, you will understand rhythms and relationships within the body and the natural world.

The intention is not only to learn concepts, but to refine your perception and awareness, listen more intuitively to your body, practice with greater coherence, live at the rhythms of the days, and the seasons, and choose your food accordingly.

Workshops bring a sense of belonging — to your bodies, to the Earth, and to the rhythms that sustain life!

Workshops based on TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) and Ayurveda are offered online and in person.

Harmony in Summer

Summer is the Great Yang  when the days are longest, and the nights are shortest.

It  is the peak of nature’s expansion, and relates to the element of Fire which is associated with the Heart and the small intestine.  Summer is governed by the spirit Shen ( the frequency of love and compassion, and equanimity) . This is  the time to live life to the fullest, go outside and be more active through movement and play. While in Winter we should sleep more to nourish Yin, in Summer we can get away with less sleep.

Harmony in Late Summer

Late Summer is the time of ripening, stability and returning to the center. This period lasts from late August to early October. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Late Summer season is ruled by the Earth element and associated with the Spleen and Stomach—the organs responsible for nourishment, clarity, and stability. It’s the season to ground, set intentions and reconnect with your physical body.

Harmony in Autumn

Autumn is the season of release. As nature lets go of what is no longer needed, we are invited to do the same — clearing old patterns, emotions, and energy to create space for clarity and renewal. Governed by the Metal element and the spirit Po, this season strengthens our survival instinct, teaches us healthy boundaries, and supports the protective power of Wei Qi — our immune defense.

Harmony in Winter

Winter is the deepest Yin — a season of stillness, conservation, and inner cultivation. Governed by the Water element and the spirit Zhi (willpower and destiny), this is a time to preserve energy, nourish essence (Jing), and align with the flow of life. In the darkness, transformation begins — through stillness, not force. Cold is the seasonal pathogen, so warming the Kidneys and protecting your core is vital for health and longevity.

Harmony in Spring

In Spring, we are shifting into a more Yang energy. Nature is waking up and the Yang energy penetrates the earth to sprout the green leaves and colorful flowers. Spring is the element of growth – the Wood element – and is associated with the liver and gallbladder. Spring is governed by the spirit Hun (driven and visionary). This is the time to detoxify, become more active, focus on goals, start new projects, and encourage others on their journeys. Spring is an expansive, life-affirming season, and is considered the beginning of a new cycle. Spring’s rising Yang energy supports growth.
